About Koga EarthGear
Koga EarthGear didn’t begin as a business. It began as a moment, one of those rare, life-defining moments that quietly shapes everything that follows.
When I was sixteen, a group of false killer whales beached themselves near my home town. I went down to help, not really knowing what to do, just following instinct. I remember holding the head of one of those whales, its immense body suspended in the surging water, its breath fading. Then it looked directly into my eyes. In that instant, something in me opened. I felt a clear, wordless connection, a recognition of the living intelligence that binds everything together.

That moment changed the way I saw the world. It planted a simple but lasting intention: to live and create in a way that honours the Earth.
Koga EarthGear grew from that intention. It is built on the belief that the choices we make, especially in what we wear and carry, can actively support a greater way of being. Every product is guided by a clear standard: choose better materials, design for longevity, and keep improving how things are made.

We work with eco-conscious and recycled materials, including sea plastics and pre-landfill sources, and we are continually developing better ways to manufacture, up-cycle, and recycle.
